Our first couple of weeks have been busy! We have spent time getting to know the children and making new friends! The children are getting used to their new environments and new routines. We have read books such as The Colour Monster, The Colour Monster starts school, A letter from your Teacher, Super Duper you, All are Welcome and many more. We have played phonics phase 1 games and maths inspired games. We have learnt about the children’s families and thought about ourselves. The children enjoyed exploring self portraits and discussing similarities and differences. We had fun drawing around ourselves and measuring how tall we are with blocks! It has been a pleasure to get to know your children and we are excited for the year ahead!
