Two visitors from the Primary Mental Health Team, which is part of the NHS, have been in to work with Year 6 over the past few weeks. We have learnt new techniques of how to keep calm, how exercise can benefit our mood and how giving can mean so much to others. It doesn’t have to cost anything – the best things in life are free! We had a competition to see who could make the best giving poster. It proved a very tricky competition to judge! Some of us then went outside and practised giving each other compliments and suggesting ways that we can improve another person’s day. It was a lot of fun and we are going to try and put into practise some of the new skills we have learnt.
