We have been busy in Year 2 this week! In maths the children have been doing addition and subtraction using the tens and ones frame. They solved some problems that were around the classroom and had to decided if they needed to add or subtract to find the answer. In science they have been identifying different species and using scientific vocabulary. In DT and English the children have studied recipes so that they are ready to write our own next week. Children used the imperative form of the verb as well as time adverbials to direct each other around the classroom to find an object. They had to be very careful with their language so no one got lost or confused!
