It has been great getting the Year 5/6 boys football season going although every game has been either raining or the game played on a boggy pitch. Two games for the team so far, the first was away to Stivichall. A tough first game with Ernesford leading 1-0 for the majority of the match, thankfully a mad couple of minutes at the end saw Ernesford win 4-0! A very good start to the season.
The second game was again away, this time to Hollyfast. Hollyfast look to be a very good team this year and we struggled in the conditions and were soon 3-0 down. A disappointing start to the game. The second half was much better and we soon pulled a goal back, we continued to attack for the majority of the game and managed to score again near the end. The game finished 3-2, a really pleasing second half with the team showing lots of resilience to come back.
We will look forward to playing more games
