This week the children had great fun when they went on their trip to Coombe Abbey Country Park. The rangers read the story, ‘The Very Hungry caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. We then used our senses to investigate other aspects of nature. We searched for minibeasts in the meadow, did bark rubbings in the forest area and fed the ducks on the pond! The children enjoyed having a picnic and then explored the playground!
