The Year 5/6 boys football team are again competing in a league and in the Harry Shaw Cup competition. The team are improving with every game as they try to finish as high in the league and as far as possible in the cup.
In the first round of the Harry Shaw cup we played Charter and a very impressive display with the goals shared around with Ernesford winning 9-0. We have been drawn away to St Christopher in the next round.
In the league the boys had 2 away games. The first was at Grangehurst, a very tough game where we managed to win 3-1. A very good start back in the league, a big well done to Rufus scoring a hat-trick. A very good team display to get the win. The boys carried the confidence from that win with a game the next week at Clifford Bridge. A really pleasing display with a 6-2 win! Another hat-trick this time to Freddie. Well done boys and good luck in the Harry Shaw Cup game coming up.
