This week we worked on words ending with -s and tricky words be, we and me. In maths we went over the importance of careful counting and counting from larger sets, counting sounds, objects and actions and remembering the ‘stopping number’ tells us how many altogether. We really enjoyed performing our Christmas concert for everyone too, thank you for coming! We wrote Christmas cards, learnt about Christmas jumper day and used fake snow to explore in our messy tray! We decorated the Christmas tree and thought about the Christmas story with the figures in small world play. We even had time to introduce our new topic Puppets and Pop Ups.
