We have had a great first week back to school in 2025! This week in Phonics we recapped some phase 2 sounds and tricky words. In maths we worked on our perceptual subitising skills and have been using spatial language to describe groups and arrangements. We started our music lessons this week with Mr Withers and have been singing the sitting on the bus all week! It was our Winter Week this week and we enjoyed exploring winter themed books such as Little Penguin Lost, Jonty Gentoo, One Year with Kipper and many more. We made snowflake shapes in the messy tray, practised our number formation, made sockybugs, penguins and weather worms for our very cold winter walk!
