It has been a SUPER week! We have covered more phase 3, longer words and tricky words. In maths we have focussed on composition, grouping numbers and objects according to different attributes and beginning to think about even and odd numbers. The children has been very enthusiastic as we explored Supertato as part of our topic! They discovered evil pea had locked up the veggies and wrote a wanted poster to try and find him! We read Supertato, Oliver’s Vegetables and Handa’s Surprise and thought about new vocabulary. We also got busy thinking about healthy foods and making our own salad-delicious! We discovered the importance of brushing our teeth and ended the week by thinking about how exercise keeps us healthy and strong. We also loved seeing everyone’s crazy hair for Red Nose Day!
