This week we continued with phase phase words and tricky words, said, some, come and do. In maths we used the children’s developing knowledge of patterns and doubles to support their subitising skills and develop their abstract understanding of number. In other areas we looked at weather, the environment and living things around the world including in the rainforest, the Serengeti and jungles. We made a map of our adventure through a jungle, across a river, through a desert and even the Arctic! We enjoyed playing musical instruments and guessing which sound was which instrument and guessing which sound was which animal.
