This week has been a busy week! We started learning Phonics and we now know the sounds -s, -a, -t and -p and have had a go at forming these letters. In maths we have been subitising 1 to 3, representing those numbers on our fingers and recognising the numbers in larger groups of objects. Our topic this half term is Let’s Explore and we enjoyed talking and learning about each others families and the different types of houses there are. We read the story Our Class is a Family and spoke about a family is not just who you are related to. We also have completed our first piece of work where we drew who we live with in our houses. During busy time we have had lots of fun making houses using junk modelling, practising letter formation and learning how to tidy up.
