This week we have covered the sounds -ck, -e, -u and -r as well as tricky words, is and I. In maths we have been subitising and investigating numbers and patterns made with numbers up to 4. The children have enjoyed representing numbers in various ways. In other learning we explored our Autumn treasures following our Autumn walk, we read We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt to link in with this experience. The children have started to use their letter formation to begin writing about what we saw on our walk. We read The Bear Snores On and explored hibernation. The children enjoyed using ipads to explore outside and seeing creatures in their habitats.
