This week we learnt the sounds -z, -zz, -qu, plurals with -s and -ch and tricky words no, go, to and into. In maths we consolidated our knowledge of part and whole numbers by looking at the composition of three, four and five practically. In other areas we completed some science experiments using different vehicles on different surfaces. We also looked at transport through the ages and thought about vocabulary past and present. The children enjoyed making wintery patterns on foil in the creative area and using their phonics and maths knowledge in busy learning time. Letter formation has also been a area of focus.
