This week we we learnt the sounds -sh, -th, -ng and -nk as well as tricky words she, push, he, and of. In maths we drew attention to the purpose of counting, concept of 1:1 correspondence and developing their understanding of the ‘stopping number’ being the last number that we stop at when counting. In other areas we have started some Christmas crafts, worked on fine motor skills by placing beads on Santa’s beard and helped decorate the Christmas tree. We read Winnie and the new computer and Chicken Clicking and wrote about the story in order.
