This week we have continued learning our phase 3 sounds -oo, -oo, -ar and -or and new tricky words was, you and they. In maths we thought about the composition of numbers which involved investigating the part-part whole relations and the missing parts. In topic we made observations about objects and artefacts from the past and used new vocabulary such as antiques to describe and compare old objects. We read Major Glad, Major Dizzy to explore old toys and Cinderella to compare old clothing from the past to the present. In other areas we enjoyed using hula hoops, skipping ropes, playing with castles and knights and making our own playdough.
