The netball team had their first tournament this week, the network schools set up a netball tournament at the University of Warwick. A brilliant venue for the children to experience High 5 netball for the first time.
The team started in brilliant fashion winning their first game. The cobwebs were blown away and they were so pleased to win the first match.
The first win brought lots of confidence which then carried on over the next few games, winning all of their games. The High 5 netball is a brilliant introduction to netball. The children get to play in each position. Going into the break we won all 5 games! An amazing start to the tournament.
In their final game we finished in style. Played 6 won 6! Well done to the netball team who collected a gold medal. Some excellent netball skills on show and improvements made all the way through. From starting netball in September with Miss Appleton in Skills Academy to winning their first tournament!
