We used non standard units of measuring to measure ourselves. We also tried to make the tallest towers out of cubes.
We had fun at the transport museum. We went on a hunt around the museum to try and answer questions about the different vehicles on display. We learnt that the reason Queen Mary’s car is so tall is because she didn’t want to bow when she climbed into her car! We also found out lots of information about the fastest
Year 4 had an exciting visit from Binley Fire Service. We learnt all about how to protect ourselves from a fire and what happens when a fire may occur at home.
Children in Year 3 have been using Scratch to create stories. Using the remix function, they have taken an existing story animated with Scratch, and extended it.
