A return of Sportshall Athletics for the Years 5/6. A brilliant event with the children showing their Running, Jumping and Throwing skills.
The team were excited to show their skills in the Coventry East final and couldn`t wait to get started. The team came flying out of the blocks in the track events winning the obstacle, over/under, 1 lap and the 6 laps. The children demonstrated excellent teamwork ensuring the relay baton was passed correctly.
In the field events the team were brilliant in the jumping events and throwing events. In the final event the team were finished strong in the 4×1 relay.
All the children were brilliant ensuring they tried their best for the team and when they were not performing they made sure they cheered on their teammates. All the scores were collected and a nervous wait but Ernesford were announced as the champions!
They will progress to the Level 3 games in March representing Coventry East. An amazing achievement winning this event after missing out the last few years.
