This week we continued with phase 4 Phonics and went over any gaps in our knowledge. In maths we used rekenreks which allowed the children to continue to develop their subitising skills, while building a foundation for Year 1. We were very excited to release our butterflies on Tuesday and waved them goodbye! We studied the work of Andy Goldsworthy with natural objects and decided to create our own-the teachers were very impressed! We also looked into the RNLI and keeping safe at the beach as well learning about the flags and what they mean. We also used our writing skills to write incredible Father’s Day cards.
