We carried on with phase 4 words and tricky words in Phonics and looked at words ending with -ing and -ed. In maths we have been splitting numbers into two groups, recognising that two equal groups can make doubles and that double patterns are even. We read A story about Afiya for our mini Moving On topic and thought about past and present memories. We read Say Goodbye…Say Hello and linked this to our experiences and read One Year with Kipper and linked this our experiences in Reception this year by looking at the year group book and the blog. We also painted some self portraits, threaded beads onto necklaces, practising number bonds to 10 and designing memory t-shirts.
