This week we have learnt the sounds -h, -b, -f and -l as well as tricky words the, is and I. In maths we worked on comparing quantities with language such as more than and fewer than being a main focus. Our main project this week was Build it Up and we read The Three Little Pigs and experimented with materials for building. We learnt about Diwali, listened to the story about Rama and Sita and retold the story in busy time. We have explored different types of building jobs and practised our brick laying and architectural skills. Children have been writing daily in Phonics and they are beginning to write words.
