School Council ran a cake sale to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. Thank you to everyone who donated the cakes! We even had some star bakers in our midst, so well done to everyone who joined in. Reception even had a great time eating theirs all together!
There was a disturbance in Year 4 during Science Week.. poor Daniel had his birthday buttons stolen! Don’t worry – there was a fingerprint left on the scene and eager forensic scientists to the rescue. To help him figure out who the culprit was, Year 4 took their fingerprints and examined them, before comparing them to the one found at
For Comic Relief, the School Council ran a coin-art activity for the children to take part in. Children were asked to bring any spare change they wished to donate to make coin-art of our favourite Little Miss and Mr Men characters, the mascots for this year’s Comic Relief. Every day, children secretly choose at least one act of kindness to do and complete throughout the day. At the end of the day, they tick it off on the class bingo sheet! The whole sheet will
Ten incredible scientists from Year 4 joined other schools to take part in a science workshop! We learnt all about energy and how it is transferred to make things move. We then used lots of materials to create our own toy, powered purely by our energy when we wind it up. How exciting!
One of our school council representatives wanted to promote our respect for school equipment, so he made this wonderful poster! We made sure that every class in KS2 had one in their room, and we will be making one for KS1, too.
