This week we have been continuing to learn about our wonderful world with a particular focus on looking after it. The children thought about how dropping litter can harm wildlife. They enjoyed collecting litter using litter pickers. We thought about recycling and discussed how we can recycle some packaging, such as plastic, cans, cardboard and paper. These included ‘Fatou Fetch the Water’ by Neil Griffiths, ‘Handa’s Surprise’ by Eileen Browne and ‘My Granny went to Market’ by Stella Blackstone.
