This week the children have been thinking about flowers and growing plants. They each planted a sunflower seed. We will look after them and watch them grow over the next few weeks! This week Nursery have started a new project called’ Sunshine and Sunflowers’. We thought about the weather getting warmer and discussed why it is important to stay safe in the sun like wearing a sun hat and putting on sun cream. This week we have continued learning about Easter. The children took part in an Easter assembly led by Reverend Jon Taylor from St. Bartholomew’s church. They learnt about how some people celebrate Easter. The children had lots of fun going on an Easter Egg Hunt in our outdoor classroom. It was very egg-citing! We then counted the eggs! Look at

This week in Nursery we began our mini project, ‘Puddles and Rainbows’. The children listened to the story ‘The Colour Monster’ by Anna Llenas and we discussed the colours and how they made the children feel. We thought about when the colour monster was green, and we listened to some calming music. We then watched ‘Little Daydreamers’ on CBeebies. The
