We have finished our beach huts! It took a lot of time, hard work, patience and resilience, but we succeeded. The children have learnt how to saw, make different joints, measure, cut, paint, glue and they have developed their teamwork skills. We are very proud of what we have achieved!

This week we have investigated 2-D and 3-D shapes and learned about their properties. We had fun using our new knowledge of sides and vertices, making 2-D shapes from play dough and paper straws. Some of our shapes were regular, some were irregular polygons. We even made octagons!
This week we carried out some experiments and found out that using warm water and soap is the most efficient method for removing oil and dirt from our hands.
