The Year 3&4 Girls football team started this year’s competitions in brilliant fashion this week .
The very excited team went to the AT7 Centre to play 3 games of football in this months competition. We were put in a group against Willenhall, Eastern Green and Christ The King.
We started against Willenhall in a very close match which ended in a 0-0 draw. A really pleasing point with some of our children playing a competitive game for the first time.
With the nerves of the first game out of the way we managed to get our first goal and the first win! Lots of happy faces celebrating together was brilliant to see which ended in a 3-0 win.
The final game of the day against Christ The King was another brilliant 3-0 win. An amazing start for the team with more games to come over the year!
