Coventry Schools put on a hockey tournament on at Bablake Playing Fields. A brilliant venue for the children to play at. We had a team put together from Year 5&6 for the first time in 5 years.
The children had a brilliant time in the pouring rain! Demonstrating their skills learnt at school to play a game for the first time. The team were brilliant, they lost the opening two matches to the eventual winners and to an experienced team. In their final league game we managed to score our first goal and get our first win!
Finishing 3rd in the group and in their final match they drew 0-0. Well done to the hockey team and to Artemy who was selected in the team of the tournament! A big thank you to Mr Stevens for getting the team ready to compete.
