Year 6 travelled back in time yesterday for their WW2 trip to Holdenby House!
This fantastic historical trip sent us back to 1942, where we met three characters from the war; Major Post, Mrs Fo and Mrs North.
Splitting into three groups, we each went with them to discover what air raids were like, learn to make, do and mend, and help Mrs North with the cooking and baking after rations had been sent.
Everyone loved the day, and before the very end, we learnt ‘Run, Rabbit’ and sang the National Anthem.
