This week we have played lots of Phonics games like tap tap say the animal noise, farm animal sounds, transport sounds, rhyming games and finding objects. We enjoyed our shape hunt this week playing a preposition game, counting games and singing songs in maths. The focus this week was all about ourselves, we thought about different parts of our bodies, similarities and differences, likes and dislikes, measuring ourselves and learnt about hand washing with a local nurse visitor! Around Reception we have been making colour monsters, reading books, making Mr Potato Heads, making playdough faces and painted our self portraits. Books read include, Super Duper You, All are Welcome, A Letter from your Teacher, The Smartest Giant in Town, Room on the Broom, 10 Little Pirates and 1 is a Snail 10 is a Crab.
