It was finally the turn for the Year 3 boys to have the opportunity to represent the school in football. The team were very excited to start playing and got off to a great start winning 8-0! We were then very unfortunate to lose the next game 2-1 conceding with the last kick of the game. The boys wanted to bounce back and drew the next game 1-1. A very tough game next losing to the team that eventually finished 2nd 4-2. The next game against was an incredible effort by the whole team. They were brilliant in defence and had to work very hard to create some chances and came back from a goal behind to draw 1-1! This was the only game the champions of the tournament dropped points in. The final game of the tournament was a great team display scoring 8 goals again in a 8-1.
A fantastic effort by the team finishing in 4th place. Hat-tricks in games for Spencer and Aveer, and then goals were shared around the team. Well done Year 3!
