Winter Wonderland

In Nursery we have decided to make some penguins to go in our ‘Winter Wonderland’. We drew 2 circles on a piece of black paper and cut them out using scissors. We stuck them together and added wobbly eyes, a beak, a fluffy tummy and some wings. We are very proud of what we have made!

Super Science

In Nursery we had fun carrying out an experiment. We put dirty coins into bowls with salt and vinegar, lemon juice, cola and ketchup. We waited 30 seconds and then took them out to clean. The coin from the salt and vinegar bowl was the shiniest.

Harvest Festival

Nursery enjoyed joining the rest of Early Years in a special assembly celebrating Harvest. The Reverend Julie Watkins-Wollner came from St Catherine’s Church to take our Harvest Festival. She also brought her friend ‘squirrel’ with her too! Thank you to all the children and parents who donated food! .

Creating Cookies!

In Nursery this week we have enjoyed making ‘heart shaped’ cookies. We mixed all the ingredients together to make a dough. We then flattened the dough out using our hands and used a cookie cutter to make our hearts. Mrs Lindsay put them in the oven to bake. We can’t wait to taste them! Yum!
