This half term the children are working on their personal skills and developing their footwork skills. We have been working on side stepping, skipping, hopping and galloping.

Reception made a great start to their PE journey this week working on showing different travelling styles and team work within the game of Treasure Island.

This year we achieved another Gold award in the school games mark. This award is for commitment and engagement in the School Games for 2022-2023. Thank you to all the children who have represented our school this year you have been amazing, this award is for you!
A team of year 2 children went to the AT7 centre to compete in the finals of the Coventry East multi skills competition. The children competed in 5 events, Runner, Pitcher, Bouncer, Jumper and Thrower. And we won! Congratulations everyone you were amazing!
This half term year 5 have been working on their striking and fielding skills, putting those skills into practice when playing Rounders. Year 2 have been excited to take part in a virtual agility competition. The children competed in 5 different activities; Bouncer Jumper Thrower Runner Pitcher Their scores will now be sent off to the competition organisers and we will soon know the results and how we got on against other schools.
