Master Chef Year 6!

Year 6 have been learning about processed and unprocessed foods, and with the help of Mrs Flint used their chopping and dicing skills to make their own unprocessed pasta sauce. Opinion was divided when the children tasted the finished product. A little less garlic next time !

Pig heart!

As part of our science lessons on the circulatory system, pupils were given the opportunity ( if they wanted ) to dissect a pig’s heart. The pupils were able to see for themselves the parts of the heart which we had studied in class.

Scoot Fit!

Despite the rain on Tuesday, 6W and 6M had great fun taking part in the Scoot Fit session. The children learnt about scooter safety and how to balance correctly. They participated in various activities including a scooter disco! The children said that they really enjoyed singing; riding with their friends, and learning new tricks.
