The vegetables that the year 3’s planted have been growing! Year 6 have also been watering them regularly. Other year groups enjoyed regular visits to our own allotment. Well done everyone!
Year 1 have been learning about the weather. We videoed our own weather forecast. Children made different items to help read the weather, including a rain gauge, wind sock and weather vein.
We had lots of fun at our summer party! We started by completing the inflatable obstacle course out on the field, which we really enjoyed! We then had an ice lolly to cool us down. After, we went back to Nursery where we enjoyed playing on our ‘beach’ making sand castles, and getting our feet wet, in our paddling pools.
Reception and KS1 met and then KS2 for a socially distanced reveal of the sports day results. Well done to The White Team. A massive thank you to Mr Hancock and Callum for running seven sports days this year!
We ended our ‘Round the World’ Trip by arriving in London by hot air balloon! We were invited to Buckingham Palace by Her Majesty the Queen for a special garden party. We were greeted by some other members of the Royal Family too! We practised our bowing and curtseying and then enjoyed some delicious cucumber sandwiches and Victoria sponge cake!
