What a fantastic morning we had at school as children from Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 came together in the school hall to share their non-chronological reports about their experiences in their year groups.
The hall was filled with excitement as the children proudly presented their writing to one another. Each report gave the children an opportunity to reflect on their learning, memorable moments, exciting experiences and the things they have enjoyed most throughout their year group.
The children worked hard to make their reports interesting and informative, using headings, subheadings, facts and carefully chosen vocabulary to organise their ideas. It was wonderful to see them sharing their work with confidence and enthusiasm.
There was a real sense of community in the hall as the children listened to each other, asked questions and celebrated one another’s achievements. It was lovely to see younger and older pupils learning from each other and recognising the many things they have in common.
The event was a fantastic reminder that every year group has its own special experiences, challenges and achievements. Most importantly, the children showed just how much they have grown in confidence as writers and speakers.
Well done to all of our fantastic Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 children! We are incredibly proud of the effort, creativity and enthusiasm you showed when sharing your non-chronological reports. What a wonderful way to celebrate your experiences at Ernesford Grange Primary School!
