To celebrate all the hard work the children have done this term, we enjoyed taking part in an Easter egg hunt on the field. The children had to solve maths questions in order to crack a code. We were very impressed with how they applied what they have learnt this term to enable them to solve the questions. Well done

We were astounded by the effort and thought that had gone into the STEM fair. The children had. Great time looking at all the maths and science entries. Thank you to all those who took part. The children were very proud to show off their achievements.
The next round for the Year 4 girls football and we finally have some nice weather for them! The girls were ready to get started and got off to a flying start with Enya scoring 2 quick goals and Sara scoring her first goal for the school to win the first match against Henley Green 3-1. This year’s British Science Week at EGPS was a resounding success, centred around the theme ‘Change and Adapt’. Our students engaged in a myriad of live lessons, scientific investigations, and activities designed to explore these important concepts. In Year 1, children participated in a live lesson focused on farming, followed by an exploration of the school grounds, assessing how hedgerows
After a busy week of assessments, we took the children outside for an active maths lesson. Children collected as many items as they could from the middle of the playground and sorted them into colours. Each total was then multiplied by a given amount. Teamwork was key! We had a lot of fun whilst practising our multiplication facts.

In year four, we celebrated Science Week by designing a home for some ‘needy’ ice cubes. The ice cubes asked the children to help them slow down the melting process.
