This week was our History Fair- the theme was important buildings and monuments. Today, we had a visit from the lovely people at Myton Hospice. We listened incredibly well and learnt a lot about who they looked after, and why it was important to raise money to help continue their work. The children had fun in Mrs Kingswell’s Skills Academy group, using chalk to create pieces of art.
This week we have done active learning in PVPG where we sorted sentences where ‘and’ was used to join independent clauses, and sentences where ’and’ was used to join subjects. Mrs Kingswell’s Maths group went into the learning hub to practise adding with regrouping. We solved problems and checked our answers by scanning the QR codes.
