Children in year four enjoyed the opportunity to share their own books which they brought in from home and books which we have at school. It was lovely to see them taking such enjoyment from reading a variety of books together.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their PE lesson this week. They took part in archery, skiing, curling and ski jump.
We went onto the playground to represent how the position and number of particles in a solid, liquid and gas differ. Can you spot each one?
Well done to our brilliant Year 4 speed stacking team, who won the Coventry East Speed Stack Competition after an outstanding performance. Their focus and determination were fantastic to see. As a result of their victory, the team progressed to the Level 3 Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Games. The team took part in four different activities and showed great determination
Our PE lessons this half term re giving us the opportunity to improve our balance. We have been working on our own balancing skills and in pairs.
Year 4 had a visitor from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. We learnt a lot of information about rivers and why it’s important to consider what we are pouring down the drain.
We looked at a variety of extracts and the children needed to decide whether they were from a diary or a different genre or writing. We were very impressed with their investigation skills and created a list of features to look for and use within a diary entry.
