Whilst some of the Year 6 children have been in Dol-y-Moch, we have been enjoying our Forest School experience back at school. Over two days, we took part in various activities including making a fire and toasting marsh-mellows, drawing with charcoal from the fire, building our own obstacle course, making bracelets and necklaces out of elder which we gathered from
We have been making all sorts of delicious treats at our Skills Academy Cooker Club.In the photos we are making pizza swirls. We also made tuna pasta salad, chocolate muffins, shortbread biscuits, pizzas and scones. We had fun and learned lots about cooking and food hygiene. By Georgia 4K
Skills Academy is now well under way for this half term. The children have been thoroughly enjoying their new clubs, learning new skills and trying new things.
In Nursery we have been learning our numbers from 1-10. We have been counting how many pictures we have and then matching them to the correct number. We have also been singing lots of different number songs including ‘5 currant buns in a bakers shop’ and ‘5 little speckled frogs’.
