The children have had great fun doing different Pudsey Bear activities. We had a cake sale on Thursday and ate some delicious cakes. We did Pudsey Bear colouring and dot to dots, played a matching game and made Pudsey Bear banana toast! Yummy! We also raised some money for ‘Children in Need’ by having a dressing up day!

The children enjoyed coming to school in odd socks, playing a sock matching game and designing their own pair of odd socks! We listened to a song called, ‘Who’s in the Odd Socks?’ by Andy and the Odd Socks Band. We talked about being kind to our friends, having kind hands and feet and using kind words.

This week we began our new project ‘Once Upon a Time’ and have been listening to different fairy tales. The children have enjoyed exploring a variety of materials to make some magnificent magic wands! They then had fun making wishes with their magic wands…abracadabra!

As part of our mini project, ‘Sparkle and Shine’ this week, we have been thinking about different celebrations, including Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night. Nursery had great fun in PE using the ribbons to make firework patterns. The children also enjoyed creating fantastic firework pictures using paint and glitter.
