On Friday the children dressed up as pirates for our end of year ‘Pirate Party’. We had lots of fun walking the plank, playing different pirate games, including pass the parcel and eating pirate cake! Yummy!

This week in Nursery the children have been learning about pirates, the ocean and sea creatures! We began the week by listening to ‘The Aquarium’ in ‘The Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint Saens. The children enjoyed listening to this relaxing music and danced along with the scarves. In Maths we did some underwater counting on the Interactive whiteboard. In

This week Nursery started a new mini project called ‘Splash!’ We began the week by thinking about the importance of water and watched a video showing all the different uses for water. The children enjoyed helping Captain Party sort all his treasure into things that float and sink. In PE we made the ‘sea’ ripple and then made big waves!
