The children had to plan, design and build a fortress to protect the Three Little Pigs should they become attacked again by the Big Bad Wolf! Their fortress had a high curtain wall, a moat, drawbridge, lookout tower, dungeon and keep. They then worked in teams to produce their individual part and then it was assembled at the end to

2C had lots of fun using Kapla! They learned about different types of bridges and then everyone built their own in groups. We also challenged ourselves to build the tallest tower they could. Some groups thought very carefully about how to make their structure strong and stable.

Before Easter, we started to learn how to use apostrophes for contraction using Duplo blocks!

On Tuesday 21st January 2020, 30 children went to the Resorts World Arena to perform in the Young Voices concert. They were part of a choir of 6000 children from all around the Midlands and Wales!
