The Gymnastics team went to the Tribe Centre to perform their floor and vault routines. After showing their skills in the morning club and in their PE lessons a team was put together. The boys football team had their second game in the cup competition at home to Alderman’s Green. A confident start to this competition after their previous 4-0 win and they carried on where they left off. The team is growing in confidence with some really good passing to create chances. 8 Year 6 children went to the Coventry & Warwickshire Tennis Centre for the Indoor Rowing competition. All the children in Year 6 set their personal best within their PE lessons and a boys and girls team was selected. The children were rowing for 90 seconds. In Year 2 this week, we used soft dough and freshly picked cherry blossom to create beautiful flower imprints. Wow!

The Nursery children have enjoyed learning more about dinosaurs this week. We enjoyed getting creative and made a paper plate dino pet which we got to take home! We learnt a song called ‘The prehistoric Animal Brigade’ and did some wonderful volcano dances with scarves making big movements for loud noises and smaller movements for quieter sounds. In Maths the
Eco Council and School Council reps have been working hard to raise money for each year to adopt an endangered animal. We have been overwhelmed with the book donations, and have been very happy with the outcome! Thank you to everyone who donated books and to everyone who bought them.

We were all super excited by the snow today, so we decided to save our writing task for another time and enjoy having some fun before it all melted!
