The children got together to hear and the results of Sports Day. Our overall winners this year were the Red Team. A massive thank you to Mr Hancock and Mr Burgess who worked tirelessly in the heat to ensure we all enjoyed our events. Thank you to all the families who came to watch. Year 5 enjoyed an exciting World Cup Day filled with football, teamwork and learning. The children took part in football tournaments, showing great sportsmanship and supporting their teams. They also became researchers, finding out about Croatia and Holland and creating impressive fact files and posters to share their discoveries. The children enjoyed learning about different cultures while celebrating the excitement
Year four had a great tournament to celebrate the World Cup. The final scores will contribute to our Sports Day competitions which we are really looking forward to. Well played to England, Brazil, France and Spain.
In honour of the Winter Olympics, we thought we would have a go at our own winter olympics inspired activities.
Some members from Year 4 went to the AT7 Centre, in Coventry, to take part in a speed-stacking tournament.
