As part of their Britain at War work Year 6 used their sewing skills to design and make a toy suitable for a child during World War 2 following the principles of Make Do and Mend. The children also enjoyed creating new clothes from old.

It was the return of our favourite event…. Sportshall Athletics! All the children in Years 5&6 have been working very hard in their PE lessons and lunchtime clubs to set their personal bests in each event. It has been great getting the Year 5/6 boys football season going although every game has been either raining or the game played on a boggy pitch. Two games for the team so far, the first was away to Stivichall. A tough first game with Ernesford leading 1-0 for the majority of the match, thankfully a mad couple of minutes
The netball team had their first tournament this week, the network schools set up a netball tournament at the University of Warwick. A brilliant venue for the children to experience High 5 netball for the first time. The team started in brilliant fashion winning their first game.
