This week, the children have been exploring our topic shadows and reflections. They investigated reflections in different ways, including looking at themselves in mirrors and observing reflections in water. The children also enjoyed using mirrors to complete half pictures, noticing how mirrors could make objects appear complete or longer. The children also used torches to create shadows on walls and explored how shadows change when objects moved. They showed lots of curiosity and enthusiasm as they investigated light, shadows and reflections through play.
