This year, Ernesford Grange’s Art Exhibition was focused on ‘Celebrations Around the World’, teaming with RE to explore a range of different cultural celebrations through art. Every year group had a different celebration to explore and learn about, before creating pieces that were put up in our art exhibition, which our children visited in year groups. This week we have covered CCVC words in phonics and went over any tricky words needed. In maths we focussed on counting beyond 20deepening the children’s understanding of number. In other areas we have learnt about rock pools, what animals live at the seashore, sounds of the seaside and what animals eat. For writing we wrote about rock pools independently.
