This week we have covered CCVC words in phonics and went over any tricky words needed. In maths we focussed on counting beyond 20deepening the children’s understanding of number. In other areas we have learnt about rock pools, what animals live at the seashore, sounds of the seaside and what animals eat. For writing we wrote about rock pools independently. The children also enjoyed making butterflies, looking for shells, water play with sea animals, number bonds to 10 with shells and cleaning litter from the ocean! We read Who’s Hiding at the Seaside? My ocean is Blue and Snail and the Whale.
