Ratio and Proportion using Skittles

Today we have been using skittles to help us learn about ratio and proportion. We compared the colours in each bag of skittles using ratio. We then simplified our the ratios and compared our answers. We investigated what proportion there was of each colour. Finally we got to eat some of them!

Learning Hub Club

Learning hub club was full of Kapla building fun on Friday. I am not sure who had the most fun.. the children or Miss Appleton! One of our pupils disappeared in to a Kapla silo.
