The Year 4 agility started this years school sports. The top 3 teams from Coventry East and West were invited for the Coventry Final at the At7 Centre. Our PE lessons are always busy! We have started year 4 by focusing on our fundamental movement skills and agility which will support us throughout the year.
Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a run around the field to celebrate National Sports Week. Some children ran, some jogged and some walked but we were proud of everyone for their efforts.
We were invited to Willenhall to have a mixed Year 3&4 football match. With Year 4 having 3 games cancelled this school year, they were desperate to play and show their skills. Coventry Schools put on a hockey tournament on at Bablake Playing Fields. A brilliant venue for the children to play at. We had a team put together from Year 5&6 for the first time in 5 years. Year 4 were invited to Rough Close in the Sainsbury`s School Games to take part in OAA (Outdoor Adventurous Activities). The children had a brilliant time in the Paris Olympic themed event finding pictures and facts to complete the tasks. Well done Year 4!
The Year 6 netball team returned for another tournament. Coventry Primary Schools put together a tournament with Ernesford hosting a Coventry East heat and 3 heats from Coventry West. Up first was Willenhall, the team quickly picked up from the previous tournament with some lovely passing and moving and soon found their shooting range to win the game 4-1. Stoke
The Year 5&6 girls football team had their cup game away at Parkgate. A brilliant display by the team, showing some improved passing and dribbling. The girls had to work hard to get the first goal and then went into half time 2-0 up. Parkgate scored just after halftime and gained some momentum but Ernesford stepped up to score and
