The children in this group are certainly being put through their paces! They have been learning new strength and conditioning exercises within a Tabata timed themed session and also showing off their skills on the wall bars.
This week the children chose the basketball shooters and table tennis. The children choose a different sport or activity each week. Places are still available for this term if you would like to join us.
A really enjoyable first couple of weeks in the Years 3&4 after school football club. The captains chose their teams for the week and looked at teamwork. The children have definitely worked on their celebrations over the Summer!
Year 3 are working on their personal learning this half term. They have been working on on improving their footwork skills and applying his into their lessons.
It has been brilliant seeing Year 3 settling really well into the KS2 PE! We have started them with athletics and we are looking forward to seeing their skills improve.
The children had a fantastic first day in Year 3. They enjoyed seeing their friends again, getting to know their new teacher and exploring the story ‘Leaf’ by Sandra Dieckmann which features a very lost polar bear on his quest to return home.
