This week in Maths, as part of our Me and My Community topic, the children have been exploring and comparing height. They enjoyed standing back-to-back to compare their heights, as well as lying on large sheets of paper and drawing around each other to explore how tall they are. This week, the children talked about the special people in their lives and why they are important to them. They then created a special heart using a range of collage materials to give to someone they love.

Our children have been treated this week to some stimulating and relaxing activities.

We re-enacted the story of Whatever Next, by Jill Murphy. The children had great fun pretending to have picnics in space!
