Year 6 have been working very hard with their writing this week. We have been writing a recount based on our class reader ‘Letters from the Lighthouse.’ Using The Write Stuff approach has helped to improve our vocabulary, sentence construction and use of punctuation. Thank you to all the families who attended our first Saturday running event. It was lovely to see so many happy faces enjoying some exercise together! Thankfully the sun was shining. We will be holding more events throughout the year.

Year 5 and 6 have been enjoying our Zumba lunchtime club. We try to offer a range of clubs for the children and this one is definitely growing in popularity. Keep dancing….
This half term, our focus in PE is athletics and developing our skills of stance and footwork.
The children in KS1 have been enjoying their PE lessons learning a multitude of skills and improving their fitness. The children in KS2 have been taking part in their fitness tests and have been too quick to snap. We are proud of their determination and resilience.
